Return of the National Firefighters Congress with Jean-Simon Chaudier

From October 8 to 10, FireTracking participated in the National Firefighters Congress, an unmissable event for all civil security actors. Alongside AXIONE, we presented our solution for the ultra-early detection of forest fires using artificial intelligence, which has already been successfully deployed in Indre-et-Loire. A look back with Jean-Simon Chaudier, CEO of FireTracking, on these three days of events and on the prospects to come.

Why was FireTracking present at the National Firefighters Congress?

For Firecracking, the participation in National Fire Brigade Congress represented a unique opportunity to meet firefighters from all over France, in order to better understand their expectations, to confirm the suitability of our solution and from our roadmap to their needs, and of course, to generate new business opportunities to accelerate our development.

What is your assessment of this 2025 edition?

The results are very positive. Thanks to the Congress, several departments and territories have shown a strong interest in what we offer and we are now fully mobilized to quickly realize their projects, before the next summer of 2026.

The Congress also highlighted the success of our deployment in the department of Indre-et-Loire, including the testimony of Lieutenant-Colonel Cédric Desbois. He emphasized that our AI solution has reached the performance levels expected by firefighters: it does not require continuous supervision by operators 24/7 thanks to a low volume of false alarms and an intuitive and optimized user interface.

This intervention thus made it possible to enhance the quality of our collaboration with the fire brigades, the departmental council, the municipalities concerned, as well as our technical partners in order to quickly deliver an ambitious and complex project: the hardware, network and software solution was activated in just 5 months and was operational before summer 2025.

In addition to these new deployments, this event also allowed us to sign our partnership with AXION in order to accelerate the deployment of our solution in France, by benefiting from their unique know-how and expertise in land use planning and connectivity services.

This partnership thus sustainably strengthens our ability to quickly deliver turnkey projects across all territories in France, with a sovereign, 100% French solution, and a quality of service in the best standards.

This conference was finally an opportunity to present to our customers and partners Anne-Cécile PELLETIER, our Development Manager in France, who has recently joined the team. Anne-Cécile benefits from a rich experience, built alongside emergency actors for several years on strategic projects (e.g.: NexSIS, RRF). She will thus be in charge of putting this experience at the service of the success of our customers and partners!

What are the next steps for FireTracking?

“Your product can make a difference and your positioning is the right one”, feedback from a firefighter during the conference, confirmed by several other insightful eyes.
Our priority is therefore to accelerate the deployment of our solution in France, in particular alongside the AXIONE teams, in order to strengthen the protection of territories before the next summer.

This congress finally confirmed the relevance of our roadmap and we are already working on new AI applications for emergency operations such as the detection of road accidents or areas affected by floods.
